This Muffin Tin Meal was hastily put together for a hungry Mr 22 Months who was following my every move! There are two little portions of leftover meat from the previous night’s roast beef. The beef was tender and perfect for my little man who is still missing a number of important chewing teeth.
There are also chunks of pineapple leftover from Mini Pineapple Doughnuts and lastly some mini corn on the cobs. He’s regularly enjoyed corn kernels but this was the first time I’d given him the corn still on the cob! I was a little worried how he’d manage with them, you see he’s a big eater so I was concerned he wouldn’t know when to stop. Thankfully he knew and handed me each “naked” cob once he had chewed every last piece of corn from it.
This Muffin Tin Meal got me wondering WHEN Mr 22 months will grow more teeth. Along with having different eating habits, my 2 boys also have completely different teeth growing schedules. My oldest had all his teeth by about 18 months whereas Mr 22 Months only had about 12 teeth and has HUGE gaps on the top and bottom.
This shows you that all children (even siblings) grow at completely at different rates. I’m not wishing the pain that comes with teething on him, but the joys of being able to eat more adventurous meat that comes with growing important chewing teeth. In the meantime, the meat in this muffin tin meal was the perfect consistency and he ate every bite!
