We’re in the thick of Winter here in Australia, which means my weekly shop at my local Farmers Market included wintery fruit galore. My shop included Pink Lady Apples, Pears and Oranges.
I bought a giant bunch of Rhubarb and will make Rhubarb Jam for the boys this week. (Click here for the Rhubarb Jam Recipe)
As always there was an incredible selection of sourdough breads on offer. I picked a sourdough with a seedy crust – yum!
There was a jumping castle and the kids could pet farm animals, so that kept them entertained (under my Husband’s watchful eye!) while I shopped. My 3 year old prefers the farm animals while his older brother loves a good jump!
Now I have my fruit basket fully stocked with more than enough seasonal, local fruit to last the week!
