Summer is here in Australia and my oldest son regularly tells me “Mum, I’m hot! I need something to cool me down”. That’s his not so subtle way of telling me – he wants ice cream! My kids love making home made ice cream and other icy treats. Not only is it 100% natural and without the ghastly store bought ice cream ingredients such colors, additives and preservatives – it’s also 100% fun to make too! My boys love helping mix together the ingredients and then watch them magically churn in our ice cream maker to form a yummy ice cream.
