Lunch Box ABC's - Letter C Ideas

This edition of Lunch Box ABC’s explores Letter C Ideas. (You can read more about the series here!)

As I reminder – I incorporate as many elements in their meal with the same letter to re-inforce the letter and build their confidence too. This includes the food, color of the food, accessories – anything that will contribute to the learning experience.

Here are a couple of food related Letter C Ideas I came up with:
  • Carrots
  • Cabbage
  • Capsicum
  • Celery
  • Corn
  • Cucumber
  • Cherries
  • Cheese
  • Chicken
  • Cookies
  • Cake
Just for fun we also watched this “C is for cookie” clip: (how could we not?!)

Here are some fun Letter C Ideas Accessories:

Included in the Letter C Ideas Lunch Box are:
  • Cucumber Chicks sitting on Carrot Sticks
  • Capsicum & Carrot Sticks with a Cat food pick
  • 2 Cookies
  • Sausage Circles in a Car Cup with a Chick Spoon

This was genuinely my 3 year old’s delighted reaction to the lunch box.

Lunch Box ABCs Letter C IdeasNeedless to say, they LOVED the presentation of the Letter C Ideas lunch box.

After enjoying the lunch boxes, we headed to the blackboard to write out some of the C words, then my 5 year old practiced writing C’s himself.
