Kale And Tuna Salad Recipe
Tuna features regularly in my lunch time menu – either I indulge in a cheesy tuna melt, tuna and pasta salad or simply tuna on toast.
From time to time I feel need the need for a giant tuna salad for lunch. I like to keep it simple and that’s where this Kale and Tuna Salad Recipe comes in.
It’s quick and simple to throw together and doesn’t over-complicate the strong flavours of the salad.
To make the Kale and Tuna Salad, mix together:
- Kale, chopped into bite sized pieces – I used a quarter of a bunch but feel free to add more or use less
- Tuna – a small tin (I like to pick Pole and Line caught Tuna to ensure sustainability)
- 1/3 of a cucumber – sliced or diced to your fancy
Top with your salad dressing of choice. Personally I adore Avocado Oil drizzled over the salad. (Where to find avocado oil.) It brings all the flavours together beautifully.
And you’re ready for lunch!
This salad makes the perfectly complete, nutritious meal.
