Chocolate Frappuccino Recipe – Keto + Low Carb Frappe Recipe and Video. The perfect DIY Frappucino Recipe at home which is low carb and keto friendly.
I have an insatiable sweet tooth, so it wasn’t long into my low carb journey that I started to look for easy low carb ways to get a little bit of sweetness into my diet.
I found a recipe for a Coffee Frappuccino that I adapted to become a Chocolate Frappucino and now I have the perfect chocolatey sweet treat with very few carbs.
It may seem a little long winded making the chocolate syrup and waiting for it to cool before you can make this chocolate frappuccino recipe. It’s totally worth it – I’ve tried making this by placing the cacao straight into the blender and it’s nowhere near as chocolatey as following the method in this recipe.
A word about sweeteners. Maple Syrup is technically not low carb. I have found that Stevia, Xylitol and other low carb sweeteners just do not agree with me, so I make allowances in my day for a tiny amount of maple syrup. If low carb sweeteners agree with you, then go ahead and make this frappuccino to your preferred level of sweetness with your sweetener of choice. Sweet?
