I know I’ve mentioned it time and time again but I’ll mention it again – I LOVE the low carb, keto diet! There’s just such a huge, delicious variety of foods that are “keto friendly” and I keep discovering more and more yummy allowable foods and recipes that taste AMAZING!
Like this Blue Cheese Dressing Recipe. I’d never even had a blue cheese dressing before I started the Keto diet. In the past month though, I’ve made this dressing over and over and enjoyed every single drop of it! It’s just so easy, and adds a healthy portion of fat to any meal.
You can serve the dressing on top of your favourite salad, as a dip for vegetable sticks or as a dipping sauce for chicken wings, nuggets or your favourite meaty finger food.
You can enjoy the dressing as soon as you make it, but it really benefits from allowing the flavours to develop by spending a few hours in the fridge. It’s so worth the wait!
Blue Cheese Dressing Recipe
- 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
- 1/4 Cup Sour Cream
- 1/4 Cup Cream
- 1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
- Salt & Pepper, to taste
- 1/2 Cup Crumbled Blue Cheese
- Pour the mayonnaise, sour cream, cream, vinegar and seasoning together in a bowl.
- Whisk until smooth.
- Fold the blue cheese through the creamy dressing.
- Place into the fridge for a few hours to allow for the flavours to develop.
- Serve and enjoy!
