Now that the 1st of February is here (seriously though, where did January go??) – I’m in full blown Valentine’s Day preparation mode. Even though I’ve been married for almost 11 years and there will be few surprises on Valentine’s Day, we like to enjoy a massive feast on the day and usually treat each other to a couple of gifts too.
Here are some gift ideas for your low carb foodie significant other:
Cookbooks
Adding a new cookbook to your collection is an incredibly useful Valentine’s Day Gift. My cookbook of choice this year was The 30 Day Ketogenic Cleanse.
Yes, I’ve already received my gift, so I can start cooking the awesome recipes from the book. (I may even make the Chocolate Waffles from the book for our Valentine’s Day breakfast!)
Candy Molds
There’s such a huge choice of candy molds that can be used for making fat bombs, keto candy or another low carb treat.
Personalised Mug
A personalised mug is a thoughtful, personal gift that you can customise with a photo of the two of you or a happy memory you shared together.
Every time your significant other enjoys their bulletproof coffee or warm beverage of choice they will think of you!
Kitchen Gear
Whether that’s a spiralizer or another must have piece of low carb kitchen gear, proving a tool to help make it easier to follow the low carb lifestyle is an excellent idea.
Low Carb Valentine’s Day Meal Ideas
Either pick a restaurant that serves your favourite Low Carb friendly fare or make your favourite meals yourself.
Our special meal of choice is usually something meaty – either steak with mushroom sauce or a lamb roast, complete with an abundance of crispy skin.
