Keto Mushroom Omelet Recipe
I really enjoy mixing up my breakfasts from day to day. Sometimes I’ll have eggs, sometimes not – but they are usually low carb, high fat and keto diet friendly.
Just like this Mushroom Omelet, which I usually enjoy loaded with heaps of grated cheese, as you can see from the below photo.

- Avocado
- Smoked Salmon
- Leftover Roast Meat – Chicken, Lamb etc.
- Sausage
- Spinach
- Pepper
- Tomatoes
- Onion, Garlic
- Bacon
- Cheese – Parmesan, Feta, Bocconcini, Cream Cheese, Ricotta
- Herbs & Seasoning
- Asparagus
- Green Beans
Keto Mushroom Omelet Recipe
- Sliced Mushrooms
- 2-3 Eggs, per person
- 1-2 Tablespoons Cream, per person
- Butter, for frying
- Heat butter in a large frying pan.
- When hot, add the sliced mushrooms.
- Cook until reduced, adding more butter as needed.
- Once the mushrooms have cooked, remove them from the frying pan.
- Whisk the eggs and cream together until smooth.
- Add more butter to the frying pan and, when hot, pour in the egg mixture.
- Cook until starting to set and then fill with the cooked mushrooms and any other fillings or seasonings of choice.
- Fold over the omelet and cook until browned on both sides.
