A bag of spinach can mean endless Keto Spinach Recipes. In today’s post I’m going to share 5 of the best ways to enjoy Spinach that are all quick and easy to prepare and more delicious than the next!

1. Fried Eggs & Spinach
Let’s start with breakfast. Simply fry eggs and then move to a plate, pop more butter into your frying pan and add a few handfuls of spinach. Cook until wilted and buttery. Move to your plate once cooked and top with a few generous shakes of salt.
2. Green Smoothie
There are so many ways to enjoy a green smoothie on Keto. Here are some ideas for ingredients to add to your blender, along with a few handfuls of spinach. I recently bought a Nutribullet, which I’m loving experimenting with. Expect more Keto smoothies soon!
- Berries – fresh or frozen raspberries, strawberries or blueberries
- Chia Seeds
- Milk of choice
- Cream
- Mascarpone Cheese or Cream Cheese
- Stevia or your sweetener of choice
3. Spinach Pesto
Spinach can be used in place of basil in your favourite pesto recipe and then enjoyed as a sauce with zucchini noodles, in a salad or with chicken. Note that this recipe makes an incredibly garlicky pesto, start with 1 clove of garlic if you’d prefer less of a pungent pesto! You’ll need:
- 2 Cups Spinach
- 1/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2-3 Garlic Cloves, peeled
- 1/2 Cup Walnuts, Chopped or Pine Nuts
- Juice of 1/2 Lemon or Lime
- 2 Tablespoons Parmesan (Optional)
- Generous Pinch of Salt
Add all of the above ingredients into a food processor or blender. Process until smooth, stopping and scraping down the sides if needed.
4. Creamy Chicken and Spinach
You only need 3 ingredients for this Creamy Chicken and Spinach dish – leftover roast chicken, spinach and Mascarpone Cheese or Cream.
To prepare the meal, heat butter in a frying pan, when hot add the chicken and cook until heated through. Once the chicken is hot, add the spinach, mix through and add a tablespoon (or more) of Mascarpone or cream.
Cook until you the spinach has wilted and heated through, then enjoy your creamy keto chicken and spinach dish.
5. Spinach Salad
Probably the first meal you think of when you think of spinach is a bowl full in a salad. Here are some ideas for ingredients to include in your Keto Spinach Salad.
- Spinach
- Feta or Goats Cheese
- Pine Nuts
- Avocado
- Tuna
Top your salad with your favourite Keto friendly salad dressing or a drizzling of Avocado or Olive Oil and some salt.
