2 Month Keto Diet Update – Weight Loss Plateau Struggles
I’ve been on the Keto Diet for 2 months now and the past month I’ve struggled with prolonged plateaus and eventual weight loss. (Read my 4 week update here.) It seems my weight stays the same (or horrifyingly increases) for days and sometimes over a week and then eventually I have a couple of days with massive weight losses and then it stays the same again.
It’s frustrating. It sometimes even causes me to doubt whether I’m doing the right thing. But, I keep doing what I’m doing. Keep tracking and measuring and eating the Keto Way and trying my best to be patient and trust the process.
The whole month I lost 1.5-2kg bringing my total for two months to 7.5kg.
Aside from the scale, it’s been a fun month of SHOPPING! I’ve accumulated a couple of pretty dresses a couple of sizes smaller than I’m used to. I’d been shopping in plus size stores/departments for AGES and I can finally move into “straight” sizes.
My energy levels have been AMAZING. I no longer feel exhausted and sluggish. I’m loving the Keto way!
This month I’ve also started experimenting with intermittent fasting. Two to three times a week I fast from dinner until brunch/lunch the following day. I listen to my body and if I wake hungry then I have breakfast and try another day.

Here’s a before and after of the day I started against the other day trying on a dress at Target. Despite the scales not having moved quite as much as I’d like, when I compare before and after I’m blown away by the changes that the Keto diet has made.
This is a dress I found the other day that I couldn’t resist adding to my wardrobe. (No idea why there were so many boxes in the changing room?!)

So, that is my 2 month Keto Diet Update. Overall I’m still LOVING The Keto Diet and while the weight loss can be frustrating at times, the overall health benefits have been amazing and I can’t wait to see where my journey takes me.
