Noosa – My Favorite Spot On The Sunshine Coast

My recent Sunshine Coast Holiday is now a distant memory and for my final post about my holiday I just had to share my absolute favorite Sunshine Coast destination – Noosa.

The first time I went to Noosa was when I was in my early 20s. I went backpacking along the East Coast of Queensland – from Cairns down to Brisbane. It took me a good 3 weeks and I had an amazing time exploring parts of this beautiful country which locals barely visit!

Noosa was one of the final stops on my backpacking tour… I was meant to only spend 3 days there but I fell so completely in love with the Noosa buzz that I stayed there for a week! I’ve been back a number of times with my Husband and kids and it still has that special buzz I experienced in my 20s – I just love it!

Here are a few photos from my visit to Noosa the other week – the weather wasn’t co-operating, but it was a memorable visit nontheless…

The river runs through Noosa, with gorgeous waterfront properties and sailing boats a-plenty at every turn… Just so tranquil…

I had my first (and last!) surfing lesson on the beach at Noosa back in my 20s – surfing and me just don’t mix, sorry! The beach is perfect… even on a cloudy about to pour kind of day…

I’m counting down until my next trip to Noosa – I just love it! What’s your favorite holiday destination that you return to time after time?

My other favorite Sunshine Coast attraction are the Eumundi Markets click through to read Part 1 and Part 2 .
