My fruit bowl was overflowing with perfectly ripe pears, so I decided to adapt my recipe for Apple And Walnut Crumble into a Pear Crumble (Grain Free).
I used slivered almonds instead of walnuts and it worked divinely well.
This particular dish was made for breakfast the other morning. As soon as I got up I quickly assembled the crumble, popped it in the oven, did my favourite 10 minute workout and then before I knew it – my pear crumble was ready!
The smell wafting from the kitchen as the crumble baked is heavenly and it made a sensational breakfast on a crisp Autumn Melbourne morning.
