Chia Seed Pudding Recipe
This Chia Seed Pudding Recipe make the perfect healthy breakfast as it’s packed full of nourishing ingredients and is super easy to put together.
I’ve been making and experimenting with Overnight Oats and Chia Puddings for AGES and today I’m going to share with you my favourite method lately – it’s sweet and perfectly creamy and is my go to breakfast most days.
This is the basic Chia Seed Pudding Recipe. In a jar or bowl, mix together the following until well combined:
- 1/4 Cup Chia Seeds (Where to find)
- 1/2 Cup Yoghurt
- 1/2 Cup Milk
The yoghurt I’ve been using the past couple of weeks is sweetened with mangoes so I haven’t been adding any extra sweetness. If you’re using plain natural yoghurt or greek yoghurt then sweeten your pudding to taste with your choice of sweetness such as maple syrup or honey.
Place your Chia Seed Pudding into the fridge and let it thicken for at least a few hours, ideally overnight.
In the morning your Chia Seed Pudding will be thick and gelatinous and ready to be topped with your topping of choice. Here are some topping ideas:
- Chopped Fruit
- Chopped Nuts
- Granola
- Additional Chia Seeds (Where to find)
- Coconut
- Cacao or grated chocolate
- Fresh mint leaves
