Keto Grocery Haul – A look at a recent Keto Grocery Haul Shopping List with video, including items usually on my Keto Diet Shopping List, along with recipes and meal ideas for the shopping haul.
Keto Grocery Haul
On my YouTube Channel, I regularly share Keto Grocery Hauls. Sometimes from ALDI, sometimes from local grocery stores. (I’m in Ireland.)
Today’s shop was from my local Tesco store and I bought all my regular favourite items. Here’s what I bought, along with how I’ll be using the ingredients in my meals.
Vegetables
In this shop, I bought the following Ketogenic Diet friendly vegetables:
- Mushrooms – to enjoy with fried eggs for breakfast or as a side with meat
- Leeks – to possibly use in a soup
- Broccoli – for my popular Broccoli Casserole (Click here for the recipe)
- Radishes – to chop into quarters and fry for breakfast
- Cucumber – to slice and have for snacks
Protein
There are loads of protein options included in this Keto Grocery Haul.
- Smoked Salmon – to have as a side with scrambled eggs or as a snack
- Bresaola – cured beef to have as a snack
- Lamb Chops – to fry with mushrooms
- Whole Chicken – to roast for a meal and then to have as leftovers in chicken salad
Dairy
I always write “all the dairy” on my shopping list, and this week I bought the following dairy items:
- Butter – for cooking everything!
- Cheese – hard, slices and grated to have with meals and snacks
- Sour cream – to have as a side with meals and in my broccoli casserole
- Fresh cream – for creamy mushroom sauce, hot chocolates and to be added to incorporate more healthy fats into meals.
Chocolate
Chocolate deserves a category on it’s own! I bought a block of 85% dark chocolate which is relatively low in carbs. I usually either have a row or chocolate a day or turn it into a Keto Hot Chocolate. (Click here for the recipe.)
So, those are the items I’ve been including in a typical Keto Grocery Haul shops lately. It does change slightly from time to time, depending on the season and what I feel like cooking for the week.
