Probably the healthiest and easiest of all options is to simply reach for a piece of fruit or vegetables to snack on.

Grab a banana, handful of berries, chop up some watermelon or slice vegetables into bite sized pieces for a super healthy, quick and easy snack.

There are so many different ways to enjoy nuts and seeds as a healthy snack time option. 

Choose from a handful of your choice of nuts or seeds, a spoonful of indulgent peanut butter or almond butter or your could make almond flour cookies to grab as a homemade snack to satisfy your sweet tooth.

There’s always a bowl full of hard boiled eggs in my fridge to grab as an instant high protein snack that the whole family enjoys. 

4. Tuna

Another great option for a high protein snack that also happens to be naturally dairy and gluten free is tuna.

You could make a tuna salad or simply drizzle a little olive oil and a shake of salt over tuna is you enjoy it straight from the tin as one of my kids does.

Rice cakes make an easy food allergy friendly snack or take to school snacks that will appeal to picky eaters and are easy to find at local grocery stores. 

​You can top plain rice cakes with your toppings of choice, or pick up chocolate covered rice cakes, just be sure to read the ingredients carefully for any hidden dairy in covered rice cakes.

Another easily adaptable snack to your own tastes and dietary requirements, gluten-free crackers are easy to find nowadays and will satisfy snack cravings. 

7. Crisps and Chips

We adore lentil chips as a special treat, you may prefer sweet potato chips or tortilla chips to satisfy your crips or chip cravings in a slightly healthier way. 

8. Dairy-Free Milk Snacks

You can quickly whip up a smoothie, milkshake or hot chocolate with your dairy free milk such as coconut milk or almond milk.

Or, you may find a grab and go snack option at your local grocery store that is naturally dairy free, like the above pictured chocolate coconut milk drinks.

There’s a choice of protein bars that you can find at supermarkets that are gluten free and dairy free, especially those made with simple ingredients like dried fruit and nuts.

Another snack to satisfy your sweet tooth is dark chocolate which you’ll often find to be naturally gluten and dairy free, just be sure to check the nutritional panel carefully each time, because manufacturers can change the ingredients from time to time.
