Easy Vegan Raw Chocolate Orange Mousse Recipe With Cacao Powder, Avocado & Dates – The BEST Simple & healthy dairy free desserts.
Raw Chocolate Orange Mousse Recipe
We ADORE this Raw Chocolate Orange Mousse and seriously don’t even notice that there’s avocado hidden within the chocolatey treat!
I’ve tried a number of different raw chocolate mousse recipes with hidden avocado, and this is by far the best. The soaking of the dates before blending transform the “random” ingredients of avocado and dates into something special – a smooth and rich chocolate mousse.
How To Make Vegan Chocolate Mousse
To make a vegan chocolate mousse, you’re relying on dairy free ingredients for creaminess. In this instance avocado and a creamy homemade date paste.
You can add more or less maple syrup depending on how sweet you like your mousse. I find maple syrup to be decadently sweet and the quarter of a cup included in the recipe to be sweet enough!
It’s a rich and smooth chocolate mousse and if you’re yet to try a raw chocolate mousse, I urge you to give it a try… now!
I’ve served this Raw Chocolate Orange Mousse in one large bowl and also divided the mousse in a dozen or so mini chocolate mousse shots using small shot glasses and served them for an afternoon tea treat for guests – and no one can ever guess that there’s Avocado hidden in this rich chocolate mousse!
