Tesco Gluten Free Food Product List – gluten-free and wheat-free groceries from Tesco’s – with a video of a tour around my local store.
Tesco Gluten Free Food List
This Tesco Gluten Free Food List includes all kinds of gluten-free products that you can find at the popular supermarket.
On a wander around your local Tesco, you’re likely to find a growing number of options that are gluten-free diet approved, some that are clearly marked and others that are accidentally gluten free.
These products are for those who are strictly gluten free and have Coeliac Disease, are gluten intolerant, or just wanting to include more gluten free products in their diet.
Just be sure to always carefully read the ingredients and package warnings before purchasing, and don’t assume a product is allergy friendly just because it previously was, companies are always changing ingredients, so it’s always best to triple check to be sure.
Tesco Gluten Free Range
A good place to start for plenty of gluten-free options is to head to the allergy aisle for a whole host of approved products.
Here’s a look at some of the food finds at my local store:
Bread, Wraps and Rolls – you’re spoiled for choice with a range of all kinds of bread, wraps, bagels, pittas, rolls and other bready favourites that you can enjoy with meals or as sandwiches.
Gluten Free Cake – there’s an indulgent selections of cakes, slices, brownies and cupcakes that you can enjoy for afternoon tea, or if you’re having guests over who are gluten free it’s an easy option to help everyone feel included.
Cereal, Porridge and Granola – there’s a tempting choice of breakfast options including a variety of cereal, granola, porridge and even instant porridge tubs for an almost instant, warming breakfast.
Pasta, Sauces and Stock Cubes – whip up speedy meals with the gluten free pasta, sauce and stock selection.
Crackers, Cookies and Biscuits – sweet and savory snacks and sweets as a handy and indulgent treat to keep in the pantry or take out and about with you for those instances when you’re (unfortunately) stuck without any other gluten free options.
Accidentally Gluten Free Finds
Onion Bhajis – I found these flavourful onion bhajis in the fridge section, they are easy to quickly bake and taste authentic, making them a brilliant snack or side as part of a gluten free meal.
Crumbed Chicken Meals – chicken Kiev, strips, nuggets and goujons make a quick meal option when you don’t feel like cooking, yet want a tasty gluten free comfort food meal.
Veggie Pudding – enjoy this unique veggie pudding in place of white pudding in a hearty breakfast fry up. We often make it for breakfast and always enjoy the perfectly spiced pudding with fried eggs.
Rice Cakes – in the snack aisle you’ll find a huge selection of budget friendly rice cakes that make brilliant snacks or treats. You can find plain, chocolate covered or yogurt covered rice cakes.
International Foods – in the international aisle, you’ll find a number of old favourites are naturally gluten free, including poppadoms and prawn crackers which are always a hit with my family. (Just read the ingredients list extra carefully for any hidden gluten.)
Freezer Finds
Here are some products that I found in the freezer section:
Gluten Free Pizza – there are a couple of tempting pizza options that are gluten free, some that are dairy free and vegan friendly too.
Keep a couple in the freezer for a quick gluten free meal instead of having to call for a take away, and stressing about whether there could potentially be any cross contamination with gluten.
Chocolate Roulade – in addition to ice cream and sorbet which is all naturally gluten free, I found this incredible looking roulade which is gluten free and would make an impressive dessert to serve at a dinner party or special occasion.
Meal Deal
If you’re in a rush, then you may be lucky enough to find a meal deal that includes gluten-free options such as a sandwich, wrap or salad, a snack such as crisps plus a drink.
