Berry Smoothie Bowl Recipe
I’ve been seeing some gorgeous Smoothie Bowl creations on Instagram and was inspired to experiment and make a nutritious bowl full for breakfast.
Being Dairy Free now I’m always on the look out for nourishing breakfast ideas and this is perfect!
To make your Berry Smoothie Bowl you’ll need:
- 1 Frozen Banana
- 1 Cup Frozen Berries
- 1/2 Cup Frozen Mango Pieces
- 1 Cup Milk Of Choice (I used Rice Milk in this instance)
- 1 teaspoon Acai Powder (Optional)
Place the above ingredients into a blender and blend until thick and smooth. Depending on the power of your blender you may need to switch the blender off and move the fruit around to help it along a bit. (Always be careful NOT to leave a spoon in your blender or turn the blender ON while you’re mixing!)
Pour your thick smoothie into a bowl and top with your topping of choice. In this instance I chose:
- Blueberries
- Chia Seeds
- Pepitas
- Sliced Almonds
You could top yours with any combination of fruits, nuts, seeds, superfood powders – whatever takes your fancy!
This Berry Smoothie Bowl is like enjoying dessert for breakfast. It’s perfectly sweet, nourishing and full of delicious fruity goodness.
