Weight Loss Journey Week 1 Update & Youtube Videos
I was a little late to start my “new year diet” this year… about 7 weeks too late… but better late than never… and other excuses!
Last week I shared a video on my YouTube Channel on day 1. Giving information about my diet history and what I plan to do in 2016 to lose weight. You can watch it here:

As you can tell from the videos – I’ve been on EVERY diet imaginable through my childhood, teens, 20’s and now 30’s.
I’m after slow, sustainable weight loss and I’m going to be sharing the journey with you.
In my first week I have lost 1 kilo/2.2 pounds. I did that by doing yoga 6 out of 7 days and tracking my calories.
Notice how I say track and not count. I feel there is a mental difference between counting down calories and being accountable and tracking the food you’re eating. I personally can feel “deprived” when I’m counting down calories versus feeling empowered when I track my meals each day.
That’s what’s been working for me this week and I’m going to keep on doing what I’ve been doing for the forseeable future.
