Three Quick and Healthy Kids Lunches

This week has been a particularly busy week. Here are 3 lunches which I thought I’d share because they were all incredibly quick to put together, (often at the last minute!) yet pack a nutritional punch with every bite.

I’ll start with a kinder lunch box for my oldest son. This lunch box consists of avocado sandwiches, watermelon, carrot sticks and organic sultanas dotted amongst the sandwiches.

This lunch was for my youngest, on a day when he was at home, so he enjoyed his special sesame street plate. The meal includes homemade popcorn and carrot, cheese and watermelon rabbits, cut using a rabbit cutter. I had just the 3 on his plate but there were more bunnies waiting in the wings for when he was ready for them. (where to find a rabbit cutter)

And finally, when both kids were home for lunch, I made french toast for them which I cut into triangles (their favorite shape!) dotted with a couple of cute food picks and served them with frozen peas and corn! Yes, frozen organic veggies, straight from the freezer. They love it! (where to find cute food picks)

I’d love to hear from you – did you prepare any speedy, healthy kids lunches through the week that you’d like to share? If you’re a blogger, feel free to leave a link to your latest lunch in the comments – I’d love to see it!
