We just LOVE pancakes in our house and this is THE perfect strawberry pancakes recipe. They are sweet but not too sweet, with a sweet berry burst with every mouthful!
These pancakes couldn’t be simpler to make – you beat together a pancakes batter and then stir through strawberries – easy!
Here’s the full strawberry pancakes recipe:
- 1 Cup Plain Unbleached Flour (where to find)
- 3/4 Cup Milk
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (where to find)
- Pinch of Salt
- 2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup (where to find)
- 1/2 Cup Sliced Strawberries
- Butter, for frying
- Place the flour into a large bowl.
- Whisk in the milk, egg, vanilla, salt and maple syrup until smooth and bubbly.
- Stir through the strawberries until well combined.
- Heat a little butter in a frying pan.
- When hot, drop 2 tablespoons per pancake into the frying pan.
- Cook until browned on both sides.
