Turmeric Spiced Cauliflower Fritters

I have been LOVING all things cauliflower and turmeric lately, I recently shared a deeply nourishing Turmeric Sauteed Cauliflower Recipe and even a Turmeric Smoothie the other day. It was inevitable that the two nourishing ingredients would meet once again in a delicious mash up. In this instance I give you cauliflower fritters.

In our family, everything is better with cheese, so parmesan is usually included in our cauliflower, but feel free to skip it if cheese isn’t your thing!

  • 2 Cups Grated Cauliflower
  • 1/4 Cup Almond Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Coconut Flour
  • 2 Tablespoons Grated Parmesan (Optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Turmeric
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Coconut Oil or Olive oil, for frying
  1. Grate the cauliflower  into a large bowl.
  2. Stir through the  almond flour, coconut flour, optional parmesan, coriander and turmeric until well combined.
  3. Finely grate the onion and garlic then stir through the cauliflower.
  4. Stir the beaten eggs through the mixture to bind.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Heal a little oil in a large frying pan.
  7. When the oil has heated, drop 1/4 Cup of the mixture per fritter into the frying pan.
  8. Cook until cooked through on both sides and golden.
  9. Top with mayo, sour cream, plain natural yoghurt or even tomato sauce!
