Keto Maple Whipped Cream Frosting Recipe
I’ve been enjoying experimenting with all kinds of keto sweet treats lately. The other day I shared Keto Almond Butter Cookies which are perfect smothered in this Keto Maple Whipped Cream Frosting.
Achieving maple flavor without the actual carbs and sugars that comes with traditional maple syrup is easy when you have a bottle of Maple Flavor. My bottle has helped me create Keto Eggnog (get the eggnog recipe here) and other maple treats without carbs.
How To Make Maple Whipped Cream Frosting
Maple Whipped Cream is really easy to make. It only takes a few ingredients to create this delicious, sugar free sweet treat.
You’ll need:
- 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1/2 teaspoon Maple Flavour
- 1 Tablespoon Stevia
Start with a clean, dry bowl and pour the cream into the bowl.
Next, whisk the cream into thick peaks using a hand mixer.
Once thickened, add the maple flavor and stevia.
Whisk again until the maple and stevia is fully incorporated.
Taste to check that it’s sweet enough and has a strong enough maple flavor for your, adding more maple or stevia if you like.
Use immediately as frosting or store in the fridge for a couple of days.
Maple Whipped Cream Frosting Uses
Once you’ve made your Keto Maple Whipped Cream Frosting, these are a number of ways you can enjoy it:
- As a frosting on your favorite keto sweet treat
- On Pumpkin Pie
- With strawberries
- As a filling and sandwich two keto cookies together (as pictured below)
- Or, simply enjoy it by the spoonful!
