Low Carb Paprika Cauliflower Recipe
I just love working with Paprika. It’s vibrant colour brings wonderful flavour to all kinds of savoury dishes. In this instance, a simple Low Carb Paprika Cauliflower dish, which makes a great Keto Side Dish.
You can use as little or as much Paprika, depending on the size of your head of cauliflower and how rich of a paprika flavour you want. I start with half a teaspoon and then add more, a little at a time, until it has the perfect paprika portion for me.
There are a number of other ingredients you could include in you Paprika Cauliflower dish. Here are some ideas:
- Parmesan or another cheese
- Chopped Garlic or Onion
- Herb or seasoning of choice
The ingredients can be tossed together in the baking dish, as I have done in the recipe, or you can pop them all into a bowl or Ziploc bag to toss together.
Low Carb Paprika Cauliflower Recipe
- 1 Head of Cauliflower
- Salt & Pepper, to taste
- 2-3 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon Ground Paprika
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and get out an oven proof dish.
- Chop the cauliflower into bite sized pieces and place it into the dish.
- Add a few shakes of salt and pepper to taste.
- Drizzle over extra virgin olive oil.
- Shake over the paprika.
- Toss to combine until all of the ingredients are coated in the olive oil and paprika mix.
- Add more seasoning if needed.
- Place into the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, turn over the cauliflower.
- Place back into the oven for a further 10 to 20 minutes, or until golden and cooked through to your liking.
- Serve and enjoy.
This is such a tasty way to enjoy cauliflower and makes the perfect roast cauliflower substitute.
