Low Carb Paprika Cauliflower Recipe

I just love working with Paprika. It’s vibrant colour brings wonderful flavour to all kinds of savoury dishes. In this instance, a simple Low Carb Paprika Cauliflower dish, which makes a great Keto Side Dish.

 

You can use as little or as much Paprika, depending on the size of your head of cauliflower and how rich of a paprika flavour you want. I start with half a teaspoon and then add more, a little at a time, until it has the perfect paprika portion for me.

There are a number of other ingredients you could include in you Paprika Cauliflower dish. Here are some ideas:

  • Parmesan or another cheese
  • Chopped Garlic or Onion
  • Herb or seasoning of choice

The ingredients can be tossed together in the baking dish, as I have done in the recipe, or you can pop them all into a bowl or Ziploc bag to toss together.

Low Carb Paprika Cauliflower Recipe

  • 1 Head of Cauliflower
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste
  • 2-3 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon Ground Paprika
  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and get out an oven proof dish.
  2. Chop the cauliflower into bite sized pieces and place it into the dish.
  3. Add a few shakes of salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Drizzle over extra virgin olive oil.
  5. Shake over the paprika.
  6. Toss to combine until all of the ingredients are coated in the olive oil and paprika mix.
  7. Add more seasoning if needed.
  8. Place into the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven, turn over the cauliflower.
  10. Place back into the oven for a further 10 to 20 minutes, or until golden and cooked through to your liking.
  11. Serve and enjoy.

This is such a tasty way to enjoy cauliflower and makes the perfect roast cauliflower substitute.
