Chocolate Ricotta Mousse Recipe – Easy Low Carb Keto Diet Chocolate Mousse Desserts with Ricotta Cheese, Stevia and Cocoa Powder & the video tutorial.
Chocolate Ricotta Mousse Recipe
Over the years I’ve shared plenty of easy keto chocolate mousse recipes and my latest chocolate obsession is this chocolate ricotta mousse recipe.
It tastes like a chocolate cheesecake dessert, is whipped together with only 3 low carb, keto diet friendly ingredients and is a smooth, creamy mousse.
To make the easy dessert, simply whisk a tub of ricotta using an electric beater.
When the ricotta is smooth and creamy, whisk in the stevia and cocoa powder. I went for 1 tablespoon of stevia and 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
That ratio created the perfect ratio of chocolate to sweetness for me. You may prefer to swap it around and include 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and 2 tablespoons of stevia for a sweeter, yet less chocolatey mousse. Or just increase the stevia for a sweeter dessert.
Whichever way you combine the three ingredients together, you’ll discover that a mousse made with ricotta is subtle in flavor, creamy and a delicious low carb dessert.
Keto Ricotta Mousse Dessert Recipe
- 1 Cup Ricotta Cheese
- 1 Tablespoon Stevia
- 2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
- Place the ricotta into a bowl.
- Using an electric beater, whisk the ricotta until smooth and creamy.
- Add the stevia and cocoa powder.
- Whisk until the stevia and chocolate is fully incorporated into the ricotta.
- Move the mousse to a serving dish and store in the fridge for a few hours to thicken then enjoy.
The recipe makes a small bowl full of mousse, so if you’re feeding a crowd then just double it. I tend to make the mousse to enjoy slowly over the weekend and the portion is perfect for me.
