Keto Fudge Recipe Ingredients

Here are the only 5 simple ingredients you’ll need for easy fudge recipe that’s gloriously low in net carbs.
Chocolate – Use a dark chocolate that works for your preferred carbohydrate level. I went for an 85% block of dark chocolate for ALDI, which happens to be low carb friendly. You could also use sugar free chocolate chips for a quick, no fuss option in the chocolate fudge.
Cream – the cream is used to help the chocolate melt without sticking and make the homemade fudge just that little bit creamier. You can use any cream you like – heavy cream, double cream or whipping cream, for example. Or, you could swap to coconut milk if you’d prefer instead.

Butter – I used unsalted butter to create the creamiest fudge. Remove from the fridge for a few hours to soften at room temperature. For a salted, cultured flavor you could use salted butter instead, in the low carb recipe.
Cream Cheese – use a whole 200g tub of cream cheese to create a decadently creamy fudge to enjoy as a low-carb dessert.
Stevia – you can use stevia, monk fruit sweetener, a sugar substitute or whatever low carb friendly sweeteners you like in this keto-friendly fudge recipe to keep it low in grams of carbs, it really depends on what you like to use and your own dietary requirements.
Keep in mind that a powdered sweetener is quicker to dissolve than a granulated sweetener, but either will do and still be low-carb diet approved. (Here’s Stevia on Amazon.)
Extra Optional Ingredients – you can feel free to flavor your sugar-free fudge by mixing in your choice from a pinch of sea salt, half a teaspoon vanilla extract, peppermint extract or a few spoons of natural peanut butter or almond butter to create a peanut butter fudge recipe.
How To Store Cream Cheese Fudge
Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Because this recipe contains cream cheese, I wouldn’t recommend storing it at room temperature for extended periods.
You can cut the fudge into individual squares before storing, making it easy to grab a piece whenever you want a small chocolate treat.

Cream Cheese Fudge Recipe
- 100g/3.5 ounces Dark Chocolate
- 2 Tablespoons Cream
- 50g/1.76 ounces Butter, softened
- 200g/7 ounces Package Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/4 Cup Stevia or Sugar Free Powdered Sugar
- Line a small square baking pan or loaf pan with parchment paper, leaving a little overhang to make the chilled fudge easy to lift out.
- Melt chocolate and cream together, either over low heat on the stove top, in a double boiler or in 30 second intervals in the microwave, until melted.
- Remove the melted chocolate from the heat and allow to cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the softened butter, softened cream cheese and stevia.
- Whisk with an electric beater or electric hand mixer until the cream cheese mixture has a smooth and creamy texture.
- Add the melted chocolate to the large mixing bowl and whisk until the chocolate is fully incorporated and you have a creamy fudge mixture.
- Move the fudge to the prepared container or baking pan, flatten it down to an even layer and place into the fridge for a few hours to harden to creamy keto fudge.
- Once the low carb cream cheese fudge has hardened, cut it into bite sized small pieces or small squares, store in the fridge and enjoy.

Yes, a powdered erythritol or another powdered low-carb sweetener can be used. Sweeteners vary in sweetness, so adjust the amount according to the particular product you are using.
