Keto Meal Prep

Tomorrow will be the first day that I’ll be back on the Ketogenic Diet. I’ve taken 6 weeks off to travel and intuitively eat. (Read my carb cycling plan.) It’s been and interesting 6 weeks and now I look forward to going back to the Keto Diet and enjoying the feeling of being in Ketosis.

Through my Keto Diet Journey I’ve learned that preparation is the key to success. So, I spent my Sunday prepping food to have a fridge full of easy, go to low carb, keto diet options at the ready.

Another resource which has helped me has been an eBook I published late last year – Keto Diet Quick Start Guide. I wrote it to help others get started with the Keto Diet and have found that it’s actually helped ME with refreshing my memory with all the tips and tricks to get straight into Keto. (Click here to take a look inside and read some of the wonderful reviews.)

Onto my Keto Meal Prep to set me up for success… here’s what the Keto Meal Prep Boxes are filled with:

Cheese Crisps

Crunchy snack perfection! You simply heat a frying pan until hot and then drop a tablespoon of grated cheese per crisp.

Cook and allow to melt and eventually a crispy cheese sphere will form. Once crisp to your liking, remove to a plate to cool and crisp further.

Repeat the process to make as many cheese crisps as you like. You could also mix in parmesan or other cheese of choice plus add salt, herbs or your seasoning of choice.

To help you prepare cheese crisps:

Hard Boiled Eggs

Boiling up a pot full of hard boiled eggs to have cooled, peeled and ready and waiting in the fridge is another Keto Meal Prep hack.

You could enjoy the hard boiled eggs in an egg salad, as devilled eggs or whole with a sprinkling of salt.

Hard boiled eggs are such an easy, go to keto snack that you’ll thank yourself later when you’re enjoying them through the week.

Celery

Celery is an excellent vessel for holding egg mayo, sour cream, cream cheese or almond butter. I find that having washed and prepped celery ready and waiting t be filled means that it actually gets consumed.

Celery prep means I can instantly fill, go and crunch away to my heart’s content.

Nuts

Nuts, especially macadamias, are the perfect Keto snack. It can be easy to quickly eat more carbs than you should with nuts. So, measuring out a portion for each day makes it easy to enjoy the nutritious snack on the go while not going over your carb limit.

Corned Beef Silverside & Salami

I also prepped a corned beef silverside during my Sunday meal prep and made sure I had a fresh package of salami in my fridge. Both ingredients are easy go to protein options that are great for mealtimes and snacks.

I feel optimistic that I’m now set up for success. I’ll be sharing a new video a day every day of May on my YouTube Channel. Make sure you’re subscribed to keep up to day with my day to day adventure of getting back onto the Keto Diet. Click here to subscribe.
