Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs

I’ve shared and tried a variety of different Keto Deviled Eggs in the past and these Smoked Salmon delicacies are the best yet. They have incredible flavour and taste like they belong at a sophisticated dinner party – but they are so simple to prepare. 

 

The first time I made these, my family demolished them in minutes and I barely had a couple. So, be sure to make plenty if you’re feeding a crowd.

Ingredients for smoked salmon devilled eggs

Here are some ideas for ingredients to include in your deviled eggs. 

  • Sour Cream
  • Mayonnaise
  • Cream Cheese
  • Goats Cheese
  • Mustard
  • Pickles
  • Dill
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Lemon
  • Apple Cider Vinegar 

Mixture for smoked salmon deviled eggs

You can follow your favoured method for making hard boiled eggs. Mine is to cover eggs in a saucepan with water, bring up to a simmer. Once simmering, set a timer for 10 minutes.

Then, remove the eggs from the stove and allow to cool completely before peeling and enjoying in deviled eggs or another hard boiled egg recipe.

Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs Recipe 

  • 6 Hard Boiled Eggs
  • 2-3 Tablespoons Sour Cream
  • 1-2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste
  • Chopped Smoked Salmon 
  1. Cut the hard boiled eggs in half.
  2. Gently scoop the yolk out with a spoon, and place into a bowl. 
  3. Add the sour cream, lemon juice, salt and pepper to the egg yolks. 
  4. Mash well with a fork or pop into a blender for a smooth texture.
  5. Mix through most of the smoked salmon, saving some back for topping. 
  6. Fill the empty egg whites with the creamy smoked salmon mixture. 
  7. Top with the extra smoked salmon.

These really have become our favourite way to enjoy hard boiled eggs. The flavour combination is perfect and I’m sure you and your family or party guests will enjoy it too.

Ingredients

  • 6 Hard Boiled Eggs
  • 2-3 Tablespoons Sour Cream
  • 1-2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste
  • Chopped Smoked Salmon

Instructions

  1. Cut the hard boiled eggs in half.
