How to make vegan keto raspberry chia seed jam

Raspberry Chia Jam Recipe

Since sharing my strawberry chia seed jam recipe a couple of months ago, I have made batch after batch. Always having one flavor or another of delicious homemade jam with fresh fruit in my fridge, to use in place of regular jam or store-bought jam that usually contains a high sugar content.

I usually use a bag of frozen berries, which are budget friendly and consistent in flavor. But, now that fresh berries are starting to pop up at supermarkets, they have become budget friendly and flavorful to include in my homemade chia seed jam jars.

Fresh raspberries for chia seed jam

ALDI has had fresh raspberries on sale this week for just 89 cents for 125g, so I bought 4 packs and set about making a batch of fresh raspberry chia jam without refined sugars.

As I mentioned, you could use fresh raspberries or frozen raspberries or really any berries (or fruit) you like. Also, feel free to use any sweetener or sugar you like that you usually include in delicious recipes. Add the sweetness, taste and then add more until it’s perfectly sweet to your liking.

Greek yogurt parfait

The easy recipe includes just 3 or 4 simple ingredients (depending on whether you include lemon juice) as well as way less sugar than a traditional jam would have.

You can enjoy the delicious jam in all kinds of healthy eating meals, snacks and desserts including as a topping for a chia seed pudding, banana bread, ice cream or in a healthy Greek yogurt parfait that has just a handful of ingredients including real fruit and healthy fats.
