A chia parfait makes a brilliant make ahead breakfast, snack or sweet dessert that’s versatile and super simple to prepare.
You can prepare your treat in a bowl, mason jar or even a small meal prep container to grab and go the next day as a speedy option for a healthy breakfast or snack.
Chia pudding parfaits make easy low carb and keto friendly options, especially when loaded with healthy fats and low carb ingredients.
1. Coconut Chia Pudding
I’m starting with this two ingredient chia pudding that includes only coconut milk and chia seeds, both of which you can keep in your pantry to be able to make a chia pudding without having to even go to the store.
To make the easy recipe you’ll need 1/2 Cup Canned Coconut Milk and 2 Tablespoons of chia seeds. You can add in maple syrup, honey, stevia or your sweetness of choice if you’d like a sweetened pudding.
Combine the ingredients together in a small bowl or jar, then place in the fridge for a few hours or overnight to thicken and enjoy.
You can of course top your pudding with your choice of fresh fruit, nuts, seeds or your parfait toppings of choice.

- Sweetener, to taste
For this parfait, all of the ingredients are placed into a high speed blender and blended until smooth and creamy.

A chocolate chia pudding makes a delicious breakfast that you can make ahead the night before and enjoy the next morning.
To make the easy recipe you’ll need:

Place all of the ingredients into a small bowl, mixing bowl, glass jar or mason jar, then stir until well combined. Place into the fridge for a few hours or overnight to thicken, then enjoy, topped with fresh berries or cacao nibs if you’d like.
4. Raspberry Chia Seed Pudding
This particular recipe was shared while I was on holiday/vacation, staying in an AirBnb and wanting to make something healthy and homemade for my family without going to too much effort.
I simply picked up a selection of healthy ingredients from a local grocery store, combined them together and we all got to enjoy healthy snacks to balance our away from home eating.
You’ll need:
- 1/4 to 1/2 Cup Raspberries
- 1/4 Cup Yogurt
- 3/4 Cup Milk
- 2 Tablespoons Chia Seeds
Start by placing the raspberries into a small glass or bowl, then mashing them until smooth. Mix through the yogurt and milk, stirring until combined. Finally, add in the chia seeds and stir until they are all fully submerged in the yogurt and milk mixture.
Place in the fridge for a few hours or overnight to thicken, then enjoy topped with more fresh raspberries.
5. Dessert Parfait
This pretty dessert parfait sees layers of creamy chia pudding, along with a fruit layer and topped with indulgent whipped cream. Perfect for when you want a healthy yet decadent dessert.
Mix 2 tablespoons of chia seeds with a half a cup or either yogurt, cream, milk or your creamy combination of choice.
Once fully combined, place in the fridge to set then top with a layer or fruit and whipped cream. You can pop multiple layers into your glass if you’d like. Then serve and enjoy.
6. Lemon Chia Parfait
Lemon lovers will love this chia seed parfait that’s infused with lemon curd that’s either store bought or homemade. (Here’s an easy homemade lemon curd recipe for you.)
For the simple lemon dessert you’ll need:
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Curd
- 1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
- 1/2 Cup Yogurt
- Optional Honey, Maple Syrup or Sugar, to taste
Combine the ingredients together in a medium bowl, glass or jar. You can enjoy the sweet treat straight away or pop into the fridge to thicken, then enjoy.
7. Strawberry Chia Pudding
And finally, this classic strawberry chia pudding is the perfect make ahead breakfast, easy meal or treat for a busy day.
You’ll need:
- 1/2 Cup Strawberries
- 1/2 Cup Vanilla or Greek Yogurt
- 1/2 Cup Milk
