This coconut milk whipped cream really does look like traditional dairy based whipped cream. But, it’s completely dairy and sugar free and is super easy to make.

 

Just so you’re aware – yes, it does have an unmistakable rich coconut flavour, which I just adore.

You can whip your coconut milk with stevia for a sweetened whipped cream and add some cacao powder for a low carb chocolate dessert.

Personally, I enjoy a couple of dollops of cream with a few sliced strawberries for a decadent keto friendly dessert.

Coconut Milk Whipped Cream Recipe

  • 1 Can of Coconut Milk
  1. Place the can of coconut milk into the fridge until completely chilled, preferably overnight at least.
  2. Once chilled, remove from the fridge, open the can and carefully move the coconut solids from the top of the tin to a large bowl. The liquid can be saved for use in smoothies.
  3. Beat the coconut until it forms thickened whipped cream.
  4. Enjoy immediately in place of whipped cream or store in the fridge.
