Breakfast On The Go Ideas
These breakfast on the go ideas are perfect to prep ahead of time and have ready to go in a bento box or just quickly thrown together in the morning.
Hard Boiled Eggs – I like to hard boil a saucepan full of eggs over the weekend to enjoy in snacks and breakfasts through the week.
You could also make a devilled egg breakfast by scooping out a couple of yolks and mashing them together with sour cream or mayo.
Cheese – In this exampled I’ve included a couple of squares of mature cheddar cheese, but you could pop a couple of cheese options into your breakfast box, here are some ideas:
- Brie
- Goats Cheese
- Feta
- Blue Cheese
- Grated Cheese
- Bocconcini
Yogurt – I always keep low carb yogurt in my fridge to have for breakfast or snacks. You can mix homemade chia jam into the yogurt for a sugar free berry yogurt.
Cucumber – I like to start my day with a portion of vegetables, wherever possible, so I feel like I’m already ahead of the game. In this instance I went for cucumber rounds.
You could also include other vegetable options, such as:
- Avocado
- Tomato
- Peppers
- Celery
Berries – fresh or frozen berries make the perfect sweet breakfast inclusion. I often include frozen that I allow to thaw overnight to the perfect texture for breakfast.
