This dessert is super quick to throw together, and can be enjoyed straight away, making it a brilliant recipe to keep in mind for when sweet cravings strike and you need to indulge immediately.

Ingredients You’ll Need

Easy 3 ingredient no bake low carb keto desserts

Here are the 3 simple ingredients that you’ll need for this creamy peanut butter mousse that’s low in net carbs:

Cream – you can use heavy cream, heavy whipping cream, double cream, or really any cream that you can whip into light whipped cream.

Peanut Butter – you can use smooth natural peanut butter or crunchy, chunky peanut butter in the sweet treat for a dessert full of natural peanut butter flavor.

Stevia – is my sweetness of choice to keep it keto, you can use your favorite low carb sweeteners, including liquid stevia, sugar free powdered sugar, confectioners’ sugar, maple syrup or sugar of choice instead.

More ingredient ideas

If you’d like to go beyond the 3 ingredients, here are some ideas for you:

Nut Butter –  swap the peanut butter for almond butter, hazelnut butter, cashew butter or any nut butter you like.

Cream Cheese – add in a few tablespoons of cream cheese, or even vegan cream cheese into the mixture for a cheesecake flavored dessert.

Cocoa Powder – add in a tablespoons (or more) of cocoa powder for a chocolate infused dessert.

Coconut – you can whip up coconut milk into coconut cream if you’d like the mousse to be dairy free, then just whip in the peanut butter and stevia as per the recipe.

Extracts – to flavor your mousse, add in vanilla extract, peppermint extract or another flavor you’d like.

How To Make The Easy Recipe

Start by getting all of your ingredients out, then pour the cream into a large mixing bowl.

Using an electric mixer, whip the cream until it just starts to thicken, for best results you don’t want to over whip the mousse, so take it slow and stop well before you have fully whipped cream.

Adding peanut butter to the easy keto mousse

Add in the peanut butter and stevia then whisk again until fully incorporated and you have a thickened, creamy mousse.

Using a rubber spatula, move the mixture to a small bowl or bowls for serving. Or, you can move the easy dessert to a pastry bag and swirl out portions into individual serving bowls.

You can actually enjoy your bowl of mousse straight away at room temperature, making it a brilliant, almost instant no bake dessert. Or, you can pop it into the fridge for a few hours to thicken further.

Bowl of creamy mousse

The low carb mousse can be topped with peanuts, chocolate chips, chopped milk chocolate, chocolate shavings or enjoyed as a frosting alternative on cakes, brownies or even chocolate cupcakes. Or, pop it into a piping bag to swirl over a peanut butter pie or chocolate peanut butter mousse cake.

Another option is to turn the mousse into a fancy dessert like peanut butter mousse parfaits, layering the mousse with whipped cream, chocolate mousse, chocolate syrup and chopped peanuts and topping it with a decadent swirl of whipped cream.

You’ll see that the fluffy peanut butter mousse is easily one of the best no bake desserts you can make, and will be a hit with any peanut butter lover or all who sample the airy mousse.
