New Year’s Eve Family Dinner Ideas – easy and fun NYE party meals and desserts for family New Year Celebrations.
New Year’s Eve Family Dinner Ideas
These New Year’s Eve Family Dinner Ideas are perfect to prepare to share a special New Year’s Eve at home with your family.
My kids are 9 and 11 years old and we have celebrated every New Year’s at home since they were born. We always make a special meal, snacks, desserts and drinks to bring in the new year as a family.
And, because my kids don’t quite make it to midnight, we have our own countdown a few hours earlier. Thanks to YouTube we are able to watch a countdown from previous years, complete with fireworks and all the joy!
New Year’s Eve Family Dinner Ideas
So, what’s on our actual menu? Here are some of the dishes that have featured in previous years.
Pizza Stuffed Mushrooms
My kids adore mushrooms stuffed with their favorite pizza toppings.
Garlic Baked Brie
This one is more for the adults, although brie is my 9 year old’s favorite cheese so he indulges in this party food too.
Cheesy Garlic Stuffed Mushrooms
An alternative to the pizza mushrooms is to stuff the vegetable with a cheesy, garlicky filling instead.
Best Ever Chicken Bake
My kids ask for this easy meal for birthdays and special occasions so it makes the perfect New Years Eve dinner.
Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs
My 11 year old’s favorite food is smoke salmon. (Yes, he has expensive taste!) So, I make a batch of these easy deviled eggs and they always disappear as soon as the plate appears!
Cheesy Broccoli Salad
This cheesy broccoli salad is the perfect balance to all of the New Year’s Eve party food and it’s my family’s favorite salad.
Mascarpone Stuffed Strawberries
This is the perfect sweet treat to get help from little hands to prepare. The berries are sweet and filled with a creamy, mascarpone topping that’s an easy family favorite.
Chocolate Truffles
If you’re not already over eating chocolate in every imaginable form from Christmas, then you can make these easy chocolate truffles.
Panna Cotta
This panna cotta has only a few ingredients, is quick and easy to prepare and you can make individual portions for each family member.
Chocolate Cheesecake Mousse
This chocolate mousse is probably the dessert I make most often. It’s super simple to make and tastes like a chocolate cheesecake.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge
This chocolate peanut butter fudge tastes like peanut butter fudge, but it’s SO much better homemade.
Non Alcoholic Daiquiri Smoothies
And, to drink I usually make non alcoholic daiquiri smoothies in my blender. (Here it is on Amazon.) They taste refreshing and the perfect celebration drink to ring in the New Year.
Wishing you a Happy New Year. Thank you for all the support during the year and I look forward to sharing more Yummy Inspirations with you in the New Year.
