Summer is on the horizon for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere and so there’s no time like NOW to start thinking about Keto Summer Recipes.
Some recipes are great for when it’s just too hot to cook and others require a little bit of preparation but are perfect to enjoy during Summer, or throughout the year when you want the taste of Summer.
All the easy keto recipes are made up of simple ingredients that are in abundance during the warm weather season and will be a huge hit with the whole family, while helping you achieve your own personal health and weight loss goals.

1. Simple Tuna Salad – my lunch most days during Summer is a tuna salad of some description, usually with avocado, a drizzle of olive oil and mayo and/or sour cream too for a main course that’s full of healthy fats.
You could also enjoy the low-carb meal with chopped red onion, lemon juice or lime juice, feta cheese, fresh herbs such as fresh parsley or your hearty summer salads ingredients of choice.
2. Asparagus and Lemon Salad – if asparagus is still in season in early summer, then enjoy a refreshing asparagus and lemon salad.
You could also add in low-carb veggies like green beans, bell peppers or cauliflower rice into the low-carb diet friendly tasty salad that’s perfect to meal prep ahead of time to enjoy on a summer afternoon, maybe even with some grilled meat of chicken wings.
3. Creamy Avocado Zoodles – a vibrant dish with zucchini noodles that takes an instant to prepare.
This dish celebrates summer produce beautifully and makes a simple weeknight meal that the entire family will enjoy.
4. Tomato & Bocconcini Salad – a bright summer salad that’s easy to throw together and is perfectly balanced when covered with your favorite Keto Salad Dressing.
You could also add in mozzarella cheese, feta cheese, goats cheese, crispy bacon bits or any other ingredients that you usually enjoy in salad recipes.
5. Lemon Garlic Salad Dressing – a refreshing and zesty salad dressing which is great drizzled over a simple green salad and makes the perfect side dish to enjoy with other delicious low carb recipes.
6. Blue Cheese Dressing – perfect to enjoy as a dressing over your favorite keto salad or as a dipping sauce with keto summer side dishes to satisfy your taste buds.
7. Raspberry and Vanilla Smoothie – my all time favourite Keto Smoothie, this Keto Summer drink has great flavor, and is a sweet and berrylicious summer classic.
8. Chocolate Frappuccino – the perfectly cooling low carb and high fat drink that you can adapt to your tastes to enjoy as keto desserts during the summer months.
9. Mascarpone Chocolate Mousse – a sweet and easy chocolate mousse that’s will wow a crowd who won’t believe that this dessert is low carb!
It’s one of my not so guilty pleasures and perfectly satisfies my sweet tooth. You can swap the mascarpone cheese for cream cheese or even ricotta cheese, depending on what’s easily available for you.
10. Keto Ice Cream – making keto ice cream is easy, all you need is an ice cream maker (find one here) and then you’ll be enjoying low carb ice creams that taste like the real thing in no time at all!
11. Green Smoothie Bowl – a cooling smoothie bowl makes a great Summer Breakfast or breakfast for dinner on hot summer nights.
Create your own and top with your tasty keto toppings of choice. Mine are usually chia seeds, fresh fruit like summer berries and nuts.
12. Low Carb Lemon Mousse – Lemon fans will love this easy, luscious lemon dessert. My whole family adores this easy dessert, so I tend to make it over and over again when the warmer weather hits.
13. Keto Chocolate Mousse – yes, there’s a second chocolate mousse recipe in this collection of Keto Summer recipes. And for a good reason – this chocolate mousse is rich and wildly chocolatey and one the the best delicious desserts!
14. Strawberry Cheesecake Mousse – an easy berry dessert that’s great to take along to picnics and other Summer gatherings. Although, I often make this and enjoy it over a few days for breakfast, but don’t tell anyone! 😉
